Penton’s WasteExpo Announces 40th Anniversary Celebration

NEW YORK ( April 14, 2008) - Penton Media, producer of WasteExpo, today announced the WasteExpo 40th Anniversary Celebration, to take place May 6-8 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The event is North America's largest trade show serving the $52 billion solid waste and recycling industry. Chicago hosted the first WasteExpo (then called the International Refuse Equipment Show and Congress) in 1968, which featured 60 exhibitors.
