Penton’s Occupational Hazards Launches Safetylive TV
11/29/2007
NEW YORK (November 29, 2007) - Penton Media's Occupational Hazards magazine today announced the launch of "SafetyLive TV" (www.SafetyLiveTV.com), a new Web site that allows safety, health and industrial hygiene professionals to view video programs, product and service demonstrations, reports from industry trade shows and interviews with newsmakers online. The site will serve as both a forum for shared video submitted by users, including safety professionals and safety groups in manufacturing, construction, utilities, healthcare and government, and an online video distribution channel for industry marketers.
Subscribers can submit and share non-commercial video from their safety training sessions, safety committee meetings, or provide visual examples of how their companies are promoting safety in the workplace. Guidelines and instructions on how to submit video are available at
www.SafetyLiveTV.com/tutorial.
Marketers interested in more information or in signing up for the SafetyLive TV program should contact online sales director Jacquie Niemiec at (216) 931-9585 or email jacquie.niemiec@penton.com.
"SafetyLive TV puts the combined power of the Web and video to work for safety and health marketers," said Steve Minter, publisher of Occupational Hazards. "Whether they use their own video material or have our e-media team shoot videos for them, we can provide safety and health companies with an effective platform for demonstrating their product features and capabilities."
Occupational Hazards' magazine, Web site and e-newsletters inform safety, health and industrial hygiene professionals in the manufacturing, construction and service sectors about trends, management strategies, regulatory news and new products that help them provide safe and healthy work sites.
