EC&M, Millimeter, and Registered Rep. Named Finalists for 2008 Jesse H. Neal Awards

Neal National Business Journalism Award competition. millimeter was selected as both a print and online finalist; approximately 100 finalists were chosen from thousands of entries. Established in 1955, the Neal Awards recognize and reward editorial excellence in business-to-business publications, and are considered the industry's most prestigious editorial honors.
EC&M was recognized in its circulation category for "Best Department" for its "Forensic Casebook," which examines specific electrical accidents from a forensic engineering perspective. millimeter was selected for the "Best Single Issue of a Magazine" category for its in-depth examination of film versus HD digital cinematography from both an artistic and a technical perspective. Millimeter Online (digitalcontentproducer.com) was chosen as a finalist in the "Best Online Article or Series" category for its "Step by Step" series, which breaks down a single effects sequence for broadcast or film, as well as games and the Web. Registered Rep. was selected in the "Best Single Article" category for "License to Lie," an examination of how brokerage management has used public records to harass departing brokers in an effort to retain their clients and assets.
The Neal Awards are presented by American Business Media, the association for business-to-business information providers. ABM member companies represent over 2,500 print and online titles, and reach an audience of 90 million professionals.
