Cesare Casiraghi
Casiraghi Cesare SAS has represented Penton since 1988, covering Italy, including San Marino and Vatican City (although it’s probably not simple to sell a page to the Pope!).
Representing some German, French, Japanese, Dutch and Russian publishers, the company specializes in BtoB magazines (mostly industrial, manufacturing, engineering and architectural magazines).
Nowadays it is a hard job to sell ads. With the current recession, companies cut all investments, however, the company does its best to keep favorable positions on the market. While strategies of customers have changed, becoming more and more global, magazines remain national. The companies are leaving the traditional markets (Europe, US etc.) and are trying to reach the emerging markets (i.e. China, India, Brazil, Middle East and more).
