Sales Manager, Western - Mix, Remix, EM

POSITION RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY:

Service and sell existing advertisers and prospective new advertisers for Mix, Electronic Musician and Remix properties including, but not limited to, online products, print opportunities and event sponsorships associated with each of the brands. Make well-prepared sales calls to new and existing professional audio and consumer clients and attend industry trade shows. Develop and maintain professional working relationships with management, co-workers, editorial staff and customers. The ideal candidate will have significant sales experience, a strong knowledge of interactive media and a demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective sales and product strategies.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree with minimum five years sales experience with a recognized media company.
• Demonstrated knowledge of interactive media sales.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals by utilizing a consultative sales approach that employs creativity and highly effective, well-defined practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Superior organization with the ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Music industry and/or pro audio industry experience a plus.
