Online Sales Development Professional

Penton Media, the largest privately help B2B media company in the US, is seeking an Online Sales Development professional to work in Penton’s The New Media Group to support assigned magazine franchises in achieving budgeted goals. Areas of concentration include:

 
  • Property facing role – Work with publishers on pricing models for online products; assist and train property reps on proposal writing and product positioning, and analyze online metrics.
  • Customer facing role – Pitch and service clients in conjunction with property reps, in person (33% travel).
  • Marketing – Advise property marketing directors on development of sales collateral
 Experience/skills required:
  • Minimum of 2 years Online Sales experience, plus 4 years of offline media sales experience.
  • B2B media sales background a plus
  • Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
